Housekeeping Services

 

  • Standard Cleaning: A routine cleaning service is provided every two to three days (exact schedule provided upon arrival). This includes light tidying, bathroom refresh, and linen/towel changes as required.

  • Custom Schedule: We are happy to adapt the cleaning schedule to minimize disruption to your holiday. If you prefer specific times or days, please discuss this with the Villa Dilion team upon check-in. We aim for total flexibility.

 

Villa Amenities: Key Information

 

  • Hot Water: The villa operates with a solar-powered water heating system, supplemented by an electric booster. Hot water is plentiful, but please be mindful of energy conservation, especially after consecutive, long showers.

  • The Pool Water: Our beautiful pool utilizes natural seawater, offering a unique and refreshing swimming experience that is gentle on the skin and eyes. The water chemistry is maintained daily by our specialist pool technician to ensure the highest standards of clarity and hygiene.

Cycladic Environment (Wind & Dust)

 

Antiparos, like all Cycladic islands, is known for its beautiful, sun-drenched weather but can also experience strong winds, often referred to as the 'Meltemi.'

  • Wind & Air: When the wind picks up, dust and fine sand particles can be carried in the air.

  • Windows & Doors: Please keep all windows and glass doors closed during high winds, especially when the air conditioning is running, to prevent damage and keep dust out of the interior.

  • Outdoor Items: Secure all light outdoor items (inflatables, towels, cushions, hats) when the wind is strong.

 

Pool & Rooftop Terrace Safety

 

The unique design of Villa Dilion, including the pool and rooftop terrace, offers spectacular views but requires constant vigilance.

  • Pool Area: No diving is permitted in the pool. The deck surfaces can be slippery when wet—please walk, do not run. No glass items (bottles, glasses) are permitted around the pool area to prevent breakage and serious injury.

  • Children: Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times when using the pool and any outdoor terrace.

  • Rooftop Terrace: Please be extremely cautious near the edges of the rooftop and ensure that furniture is not moved close to the perimeter. Never climb or sit on railings or parapets.
